What is your greatest debt?
They have come to you. They are your client.
Your clients have paid for your vacations; infused your IRA or retirement account. They help pay for your children’s education, the company car you drive, and probably a lot more.
They have tolerated your mistakes and spent their hard-earned money with you. When they called you, they risked much, including their emotions.
With your help, they "walked through the valley," somehow found a smile through the worst, and recommended you to others.
You sit in your office and wonder, "Should I call them?" You ponder, "Should I feel any debt?"
There is no thing as too grateful or too appreciative. After all they have been through, you cannot thank them enough. And, few of us do.
You hear the phrase, "I cannot thank you enough." This phrase truly captures the essence of it all: You cannot thank them enough.
How many thank-you notes did you send this past year?
This coming year, send twice that many.
Remember the last time you thanked someone…how it made you feel. Content. Pleased.
Giving thanks feels good to you, too.
