Your PERSONAL BELIEF system

 

To gain a client family, you must believe in your company, your product (I don’t mean merchandise) and YOURSELF. Without this belief, presenting your services or "talking" a family into your facility, will be much tougher.

Your belief system determines your fate. This not only affects the "selling" process but your career. It’s often been said that the first sale one must make is himself or herself – that the customer must buy you before they buy your company, product or service. So you see, that in order for this to take place, you have to believe in yourself…that to make a "sale," you must first sell yourself.

Your self-belief will be evident in your passion…in your presentation as you transfer your message, engage the customer and present your service. Your self-belief will be evident in your enthusiasm and self-confidence. Your self-belief will be evident as you share your knowledge.

It will become most evident when you truly believe that the customer is better off having selected you as their funeral home of choice…that your product, service, attitude are much greater than any competitor could ever hope to offer.

Here’s a valuable exercise for you and your staff. Answer the following questions:

bulletWhy do I believe in my company?
bulletWhy do I believe in my service?
bulletWhy do I believe in myself?
bulletWhy do I believe the customer is much better off choosing my funeral home?

TO DO:

Call and speak with some of your previously-served client families. Ask them why they believe in you and your company…why they selected you to serve them. You will gain much information and the customers who love you will help deepen your personal belief system.
