From: Mike Kubasak Your Service Should Resemble a Loving Relationship In my first book, Cremation and the Funeral Director, (available by calling 702-345-3212) I discussed tangible and intangible items of service. When you buy a product, you purchase something tangible. But, as I have learned, when you buy a service, you buy the people who perform it. You buy a hair stylist, for example, not a hair salon. You buy a doctor not a clinic. You buy an attorney not a law firm. If these people change location, you probably will, too. In short, we love people - not institutions. In a personal service business, the best relationships are loving relationships. Your service involves more than exchanging something tangible for money. It must include a sense of confidence in your ability, warmth, compassion, empathy, friendship, peace of mind, trust and more. See each of your client families as being special and then make them feel special and your business will flourish! I welcome your calls, inquiries, questions and comments about topics of interest to you. 702-345-3212 or Mike@kubasak.com or mkubasak@aol.com
